Microsoft Township maps will be an important key to a project currently before the township Joint Land Use board, according to Bellis. The township committee voted late last month to instruct the board to investigate whether the area surrounding the New Egypt section of the township met state-mandated criteria for designation as a redevelopment zone.

Desktop Computer During the public comment portion of Monday's meeting, resident Mitch Geyer questioned the legal status of the Plumsted Township Council of the Arts, as well as the Main Street New Egypt organization. Geyer, who is running this year as a Democratic candidate for township committee, asked whether both organizations were covered by the state's Sunshine Law. The statute requires published notification of meetings and also that those meetings be open to the public, except for discussions of personnel and contract matters.
