Resident Sales
GameCube fans should rest a bit easier, as a mature-themed 3rd party title reigns surpreme as the highest selling game last month.
The top 5 looks like this thus far (proven inaccurate):
Resident Evil 4 - 319,000
GTA: San Andreas - 241,000
Mercenaries Xbox - 201,000
Mercenaries PS2 - 182,000
NFS: Underground 2 - 142,000
Of course when you add the 180,000 copies RE4 managed to move in Japan, you're already looking at a game that's nearing half a million within it's first month of sales. And don't forget the game will see a release in Europe next month as well.
