They doubt Ruga, 45, a former NBC technical production coordinator who is now president of Lantern Oak Video Productions in Morristown, will give supporters of the abbey plan a fair shake.
Thinkpad The formal resolutions come about three weeks after the board voted 6-2 in September to amend the townships master plan. Opposing votes during that meeting came from H. Scott Rosenbush and Mary Clowney, who attended Monday nights meeting, but did not vote on the measures. Board members Arnold Nasta and Franz Vintschger recused themselves from voting.
The complex, if approved, would be built on 41 acres of abbey land. In late 2001, the Morristown Township Council rejected plans to provide sewer service through the township plant. The abbey went back to the drawing board and in February released plans for a new sewer line. If approved by local and state officials, it would mirror an existing sewer from the abbey property to the townships Butterworth Sewage Treatment Plant.

Laptop Computers Mayor Jan Wotowicz said he is trying to put the reexamination report and amendment on the township committees agenda for discussion of the ordinance during the Oct. 17 meeting.

Desktop Computer The master plan amendment will allow for a continuing care retirement care community use and mandatory open space on a portion of the Abbey property.
Notebooks The change from a 3-acre residential zone to one allowing for retirement centers, can be put into township zoning law only by the township committee. An amendment has to be drafted, introduced and subjected to a public hearing and township committee vote before the master plan change can become municipal law.
Lenovo The Abbey plan to build a 200-plus bed retirement community at its Mendham Road site has hit barriers on the state level, where planners say the land is a planning area 5, or most environmentally sensitive. In order to build the retirement community on land the Abbey owns at$Delbarton School, approval is needed to link the complex to Morristown's sewer system.
