Software Parking is a problem for the residents of Carol Drive. According to most, cars line the street from afternoon to late evening. Trail hikers use the road as a parking lot. Yet, the neighbors dont want an official Appalachian Trail parking lot.
Hard Drives Underhill believes the parking lot issue is a lightning rod for other concerns, which include the trail passing within feet of residents backyards and issues that still must be worked out.
Electronics Thomas Boyle, president of the Vernon Stewardship Alliance, set up mediation meetings with the Carol Drive neighbors and representatives from the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and the Appalachian Trail Conference which will report to the council within the next 30 days. Vernon is a vacation spot that welcomes people, said Deputy Mayor Janet Morrison. She believes there is a solution.

Desktop Pc There are solutions. It is obvious that the Carol Drive residents dont welcome the hikers. We can steer them to where they are welcomed. There are those that would welcome them. Expanded parking elsewhere with signs indicating where trail hikers can park could solve the problem, Morrison said.
