cold weather is to stay dry.

said, "If you are exposed to the cold, first degree frostbite is
not serious or unusual.
Desktop Computers "All of us have probably had first degree frostbite at one
time."
Think Pad Symptoms of first degree frostbite are temporary tenderness and
reddened skin. If these symptoms do not go away after you have been
inside for a few minutes, Anderson recommends that you stop by
Health Service.
Repair When out in the cold, Anderson also said to keep in mind that
"people think alcohol keeps them warmer when it actually has the
opposite effect."

services, who said he sees a lot of students go downtown drinking
who are not dressed very warmly.

the risk of getting hypothermia, Ahles said.
Keyboard Another concern Anderson mentioned was the increased
susceptibility in cooler temperatures to colds and flues. Cold
weather weakens the immune system, so you actually need more rest
and fluids in the winter than you do in the
summer, Anderson said.
Monitor "In the winter time, if one person gets a cold, chances are that
another person will catch the cold pretty quickly," Anderson said.
"In the summer, on the other hand, when the windows are open and
our immune system is probably stronger, colds and viruses are
passed less quickly."
Desktop To help protect yourself from germs, Anderson recommends washing
your hands frequently.
Infosys Also, Anderson said Health Services received a full supply of
the flu vaccine just last week. Vaccinations will be given on Nov.
3 and Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to the first 250 students to
sign up for it.
