SteelCloud Announces New Server Technology Targeted for Power/Thermally Challenged Environments

(Nasdaq: SCLD), a leading supplier of turnkey appliance servers, network security and infrastructure solutions, and professional IT services today announced it is expanding its rack-mounted and blade server lines to include the new Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor LV, code-named Sossaman. The new processor is built on Intels 65 nanometer technology and only dissipates 31 watts a 70% decrease over previous generations. The new servers are targeted for organizations seeking deployments requiring high compute density, better performance per watt and lower operating costs.
