Mood: giggly, 709 Views As a teenager, (before my Mother left my very violent father) I was never allowed to have or go to any overnight Girls Bunking Party . Well, I am happy to say in October of next year I am going to BUNKING PARTY . Now don laugh, better late than never, even if we will be 64 65 years old we intend to have a blast. My graduating class is meeting in Branson, MO for our 46th High School Reunion and a group of us girls decided to share a room. I told her I stayed married for 22 years, 1 month, 5 days minus a few hours. She said well I wasn t as smart as you, I stayed married for 28 years 1 month and 2 days . I found a lot of humor in hearing from my best friend again. We thought we were so much in love with our guys that they were all that was important. We lost contact with each other. One of the things I grew up with was you honored your father and mother, you address older people as Mr and Mrs, and a deal was made with a hand-shake. Life had such a different meaning in those years, although I didn t agree with it at all, children were to be seen, not heard . Can you just imagine telling a teenager that in this day and age. If your teacher punished you, when you got home your parents punished you more. In this day and age if a child were to be punished at school, there would be a lawsuit to soon follow........doesn t make any difference if the student was in the wrong.. people these days think their children are perfect and can do no wrong.
