Vista!!! Just hate it. I m thinking about installing XP Professional from the scratch. It takes so long for system to load. Video card is so-so but not planning to play games. Don t like a touchpad. Not sensitive enough. thinkpad

Pros:

I did a fair amount of research on table pc s. This one has it all. Great features for a good price. This thing is really fast and lightweight too. laptop computers

Cons:

Battery life is not that great as others have complained about. Heat is also a real issue with this laptop. You need to make sure and rotate the screen away from where you will be holding it or your hand will get uncomfortable after a while. The screen does occasionaly lose calibration, but is easy to fix laptop computer

Other Thoughts:

For what you get this is definitely one of the best tablets on the market. HP is a good brand name and the price makes it a great deal desktop computer

Pros:

Vista is the only downside. If you like to tweak you system vista is a pest but we will be foreced to move on with progress. Some of my old Apps will not run on Vista. lenovo

Very nice. Bought for wife who is VERY computer literate and definitely likes all the bells whistles. Love the Light Scribe DVD Burner (unexpected bonus, though was just plain DVD burner) and battery life is good at over 4 hours with settings set for good performance and reduced power use through monitor blanking and power-off after 5-10 minutes on devices. This notebook by far exceeds everything I bought it for. I am an operations manager for a construction company, constanly on the phone, constanly dealing with issues. I bought this tablet to act as my instead notebook, write down my notes, complete work orders, keep track of vehicles and personell. It has work flawlessly. software

Cons:

Screen seems a bit flimsy for abuse, if anything it is actually too powerfull for what I really need, performs all my tasks without a hiccup on battery saving mode, and the battery lasts much longer than i expected from using other laptops. hard drives

For my next purchase I may try the screen only ultra mobile versions, I am a power gamer and bought what I thought was a respectale system to use for business apps, the onboard graphics wont run intensive game applications, but it busts through and in multiple instances, all my business software. electronics

Pros:

Price and build. Seriously a professional feeling piece of hardware. No dead/bright pixels. Has all the right features and simply and and well designed. canon

Cons:

Not quite enough memory and power for heavy art programs. Photoshop runs pretty smooth under heavy load but apps like corel painter run a bit slow. desktop pc

Other Thoughts:

This is hands down one of the best tablets out there, still. And arguably one of the best laptops in it s spec class. If you work with large files(100megs+) or seriously graphic intensive apps it wouldn t hurt to get some more ram. desktop computers

Cons:

Vista Business is annoying, wonky, and difficult. Pressure sensitivity in programs like Photoshop and Flash require additional drivers (can be found on Wacom s site). Turning off the computer takes a while and doesn t really seem to do what you want it to. Turning it on is sometimes sluggish. I waited ten minutes for Vista to stop telling me it was configuring settings. You sometimes find yourself having to tap pretty hard with the pen to get it to click on things. repair

Other Thoughts:

Once you get everything set up, it s a really fun, nice computer. Considering that the majority of my problems were with Vista and not the machine itself, this thing is pretty stable. Vista s handwriting recognition makes it good for taking notes and stuff. It runs Photoshop CS3 well enough to draw on it. data recovery

Great look. Very sturdy. Many peripheral. Loved it at until last night which died on me with bad smoke comming out of its fan. Two times restarted itself. Only used it for a month. cisco

Came with Vista Biz, but documentation is for XP. DVD-CD recording software is not instatlled by default. Customer Service is B-. Motherboard started to smoke after 1 month. Sending it back. Sucks. I have to go through all this trouble. At least IBM sends me a box. Much less hassle. keyboard

I wish I would have gone with new Lenovo Tablet. Be carefull. I am sure RoHS Compliency has created this incident. RoHS is too new and manufacures are still strugelling with that. Good for invironment. Bad for End users. monitor

Other Thoughts:

This bundle is the same retail price as the DS and Brain Age 2 combined, meaning you effectively get the case (and an extra stylus, if I recall correctly) for free. The case is decent... it s black with some red trim to match the DS. It s got a suede feel to it. It has three pockets for holding DS games. The system is held in with elastic. While you can play the system in the case, the stylus is a bit difficult to dig out. If you have more particular needs in a case, there s probably not a whole lot of reason to buy the bundle. The DS itself is very slick. The crimson top has the usual gloss that looks very slick as long as you keep it clean. The bottom black half is matte, so it doesn t so much suffer from the fingerprint pollution. Brain Age 2 is a good starter game for adults. There are some fun exercises in there, and you can track progress for up to 4 people on one card. There are also a number of Sudoku puzzles outside the main brain training bit, and a Dr. Mario clone. as400

I got this as an upgrade from a regular DS and this is well worth the price. The screen is much brighter than the original which makes games look a lot better. Not to mention this DS looks awesome. The red looks exactly as it does in the picture. The coating on the black part of this DS is not the waxy, shiny material like on the all black DS, which means it doesn t smear and smudge nearly as much. The red part of this DS is though, but I didn t notice that much smearing. Nintendo took an already awesome handheld and re-designed it to create the best available experience. storage
