Thinkpad Disney Chief Executive Michael Eisner has done at least one thing right in the eyes of disgruntled shareholders in flatly rejecting Comcast's unsolicited bid to buy the company.

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. Laptop Computer April 29, 2004 - Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) sent a brief memo to Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) CEO, Brian Roberts, stating that "Mickey Mouse is NOT for sale."With Disney's Eisner on the "S--t" list with shareholders who're calling for him to turn in his ears, perhaps there's one redeeming value in knowing that Eisner realizes that Disney is worth far more than a mere $48.4 billion. After all, have you seen the price of a ticket to Disney Land lately?

Desktop Computer Eisner's problems all started with his big mouth. After he tripped over it a few times promising shareholders long-term results, he wasn't able to provide them with answers and that all fell on the eve of his hefty stock and cash payment made in the name of sincerity for a job only half performed. It's no wonder shareholders are saying "off with his head".

Notebooks Walt Disney's brother, who was on the board (is he still?), began a fight with Eisner that's spilt out onto the deck of Captain Hook's ship and then some until shareholders picked up the rallying cry for answers. Eisner has yet to face shareholders at the annual meeting soon to come.

Lenovo In Comcast's defense, hey, when its on the ropes and shareholders are grumbling, why not make a pitch for Disney? Many of us would have done the same thing had we been Roberts shoes. What's most surprising is that no other companies came to the table and made counter offers.

Hard Drive While Comcast is so huge it doesn't need Disney, but owning the Disney library of films would make sense. After all, it IS a cable TV provider so movies and cartoons were a perfect fit.

Travelstar On the other hand, I smiled when I first saw the news that the home of Mickey Mouse was not for sale. I remember the old Walt Disney Co. The one that produced our classic cartoons and movies that everyone enjoyed. The Disney of today is nothing like its founder envisioned it would be, but these are not the 50s, it's 2004, a long way from the days of black and white television.

Gateway Will Walt Disney Co. be split up? I doubt it. Eisner is not Disney. It will get along with or without him. And every year, Walt Disney Co. will open its film vaults and watch the money roll out. It'll survive, just fine.Enjoy!
