GDC: No Revolution In 2005

GDC: No Revolution In 2005

Laptop Battery Recently, Game Informer Online sat down with Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime. Game Informer Online's Billy Berghammer came straight out and asked Fils-Aime, "Will the Revolution release in 2005?"

Rather than giving a long response, Fils-Aime gave a straight answer. Fils-Aime simply responded, "No."

So there you have it, Revolution, at best, will release in early 2006. We'll keep you updated.

Editor's Note: I highly recommend that everyone read the full interview over at Game Informer. To read the full interview, go here. Some of the items discussed include: Why the new Zelda is for the GameCube, not Revolution, third party support, and why there isn't an analog stick on the DS.

With the laptop market growth or the optical media revolution, many computers do not incorporate floppy disk drive anymore.
