Staff The Fly 256 has a curvy rocker and outline, which make it very loose, very much oriented toward sideshore waves. Its range of fin, mast and foot-strap positions means that it can be adjusted to the needs of just about any serious wave sailor. But the 256's appeal doesn't stop there. While our pro testers preferred faster, edgier boards, many guest testers felt the 256 was easy to sail and forgiving on the windier, choppier days. Both lightweights and heavyweight riders well-powered on 4.0- to 4.7-square-meter sails had good words to say about the 256's smooth ride and readiness to turn.
