With the Laptop Desk v2.0, announced in April 2002, LapWorks launched a new category with the industry’ purpose lap desk that doubles as a desktop stand for ergonomic typing on desks. Calero's third product, the Laptop Desk UltraLite, launched in August 2004.

The huge growth in computer data, mainly video and still pictures, inspired the studies of holographic storage. Most researchers working with this new technology predict that computers will not start using holographic storage systems until the turn of the century. Scott Mettler

Laptop Computers The holographic drive is first in a line of drives to be developed that will make DVD storage a thing of the past, though consumers probably won't see computer makers quick to switch storage drives until late next year or early 2007.

Submitted by Shlomo Touboul on Tue, 28. Dear reader, The laptop and desktop sales statistics come from very respectable computer market analysts. According to these reports, by the end of 2006, Corporate America bought more laptops than desktops. There are many reasons and drivers for this trend, many relate to mobile workforce needs. As for protecting a few computers at home, please have a look on our Gatekeeper SOHO product. It can protect up to 5 computers at home or small office.

Laptop Computer But cost is king when it comes to manufacturing computers, which Maxell says its holographic drive is expected to have the lowest cost per gigabyte of any commercial quality removable storage. Its holographic disks also have a 50+ year storage life, which far out weighs DVD.

And then, of course, we have the Standalone Server product, which is called Acronis True Image Server for Windows or Linux and that will manage a single standalone server. What type of computers can we back up, because in a medium to a large sized, even some small sized businesses, who knows what kind of computers they have They may have laptops, they may have desktops, they may just have anything and everything

Desktop Computer "Holographic media makes it possible for millions of pages of information and high definition images to be held on one small, relatively inexpensive disc," said Steven Pofcher, senior marketing manager at Maxell. "Imagine having a person's entire medical history, complete with MRI images, or storing a broadcast network's entire HD Library on a single disc. These are both possible with holographic technology, which has such large capacity that approximately a half million 300-page books can be stored on a single disc."

Notebooks Holographic recording technology utilizes intersecting signal and reference laser beams to store data in a number of 3D hologram images capable of saving hundreds of data pages in a single location. One 5 inch-diameter optical disc can store up to 150 million pages - more than 63 times the capacity of DVD.
