Merger Creates the UK's 'Biggest-Ever' Linux and Open Source

& Expo has announced a merger with LinuxUser & Developer
Expo, confirming its position as the UK's biggest Linux and Open
Source technology event. The merger of these two important events
will provide a single annual focus for Linux and Open Source
vendors and IT decision-makers in the UK. LinuxWorld Conference
& Expo 2004 will be held on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th
October at London's Olympia Exhibition Centre.
Three organisations have now united to create THE annual UK Linux
and Open Source forum under the internationally-successful
LinuxWorld brand: XPO Events, one of the UK's leading organisers of
community-based IT events; IDG World Expo, organiser of the global
series of LinuxWorld events; and Horsepower Media, the publisher of
LinuxUser & Developer magazine.
